3rd Annual Daddy Daughter Dance presented by Junior Service League of Hobbs

The Junior Service League of Hobbs is hosting the 3rd annual Daddy Daughter Dance on Saturday, January 27th at the Hobbs Country Club. With a Winter Wonderland theme, this year’s event is sure to bring lasting memories to daughters and important male figures in their lives. Two dances are available from 4 – 6 pm and 7 – 9 pm. Ages PK – 12th grade. Tickets are $30.

Southwest Symphony performs “Instruments at Play”

The annual Youth Series for Lea County elementary students will take place January 29-30, 2024. This season Southwest Symphony Orchestra will present “Instruments at Play”. During this extensive event, orchestra members not only from Hobbs, but from all over New Mexico and Texas come together to practice and perform over a three-day period. Lea County 4th and 5th graders will be bused in on Monday and Tuesday January 29 and 30 for a special educational performance from the Southwest Symphony Orchestra. Monday, January 29, at 7:00pm will be a public performance of “Instruments at Play” at R.N. Tydings Auditorium.
