High School Art Show

Llano Estacado Art Association Presents the High School Art Show.

3K/5K ATK Color Me Fun Run & Walk

Free Family Fun.  Superhero Themed. Music/DJ. Giveaways. Stem Activities. Food Vendors. Company Vendors. Entertainment. Wacky Science. Games with prizes.  Volleyball Tournament.

Tatum High School Graduation

The Tatum High Graduation will take place at 2 pm Saturday with a parade route stretching from east Hwy 380 to the school football field for the commencement.  Each senior will be allowed two vehicles to park at the football field to watch the ceremony.

Jal High School Graduation

The Jal High Graduation will start at 1:30 pm with a parade and end at the high school auditorium.  Seven family members of each graduate can enter the auditorium watch their graduate receive his/her diploma and then exit the auditorium for the next graduate and family.

Lovington High School Graduation

The families and friends will gather at the Lea County Fair grounds for a reverse parade.  The graduates will line up around the courthouse and a professional photographer will be available for photos.

Walk/Run in your neighborhood, at your favorite park or on your favorite trail.   Step One:  Let us know "you want in"  We will send you a link to pay for your shirt, color powder and bib.   Step Two:  Pick up your shirts, color powder and bib (curbside-we will bring your shirt to your car) from June 16th - 18th from 3-8pm at ATK Martial Arts School 1011 E Bender.   Step Three:  During the week of June 22-27th run/walk in your neighborhoods, take pictures, videos and/or go live  RUN/WALKING AND THROWING COLOR ON YOUR GROUP!   Cost Includes shirt, runner bib and color powder.   Adult:  18 and up $30 Youth:11-17 $15 Kid: 6-10 $15   Registration email "I WANT IN" to atkfunrun@gmail.com

Movies Under the Stars Drive-In Edition!

Join the City of Hobbs and KZOR for a FREE night at the movies Drive-In style! Parking opens at 7:00 PM at the HIAP (Hobbs Industrial Air Park) just west of the Harry McAdams Park. The show begins at dusk (around 8:30. We are viewing "Playing with Fire" starring John Cena. Restrooms and food vendors will be on hand, but we recommend to still follow all social distancing protocols. To become a vendor please contact Aaron at 575-397-4941.

City of Hobbs July 4th Fireworks Show

The City of Hobbs is hosting the annual FREE fireworks show at HIAP (Hobbs Industrial Air Park) at 5425 Jack Gomez BLVD on July 4th, 2020 at 9:30 PM. The public is invited to park on the tarmac and view the show from their vehicles. Parking will open 7:00 PM. No other organized activities are planned at this time due to COVID-19 precautions and recommendations. Please stay in/near your vehicles.
No personal fireworks will be permitted. Tune in to 94.1 for musical accompaniment!

Come enjoy a few movies we missed due to this crazy Covid19 time!
Remember food trucks and parking opens at 7:30pm and please be courteous to leave the first 3 rows for cars only so hopefully we can all enjoy this movie out under the stars!

Hobbs High School Graduation

Unable to hold a traditional graduation ceremony due to social distancing restrictions, Hobbs High School will hold its most unique graduation in school history at 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 18
