City of Hobbs July 4th Fireworks Show

The City of Hobbs is hosting the annual FREE fireworks show at HIAP (Hobbs Industrial Air Park) at 5425 Jack Gomez BLVD on July 4th, 2020 at 9:30 PM. The public is invited to park on the tarmac and view the show from their vehicles. Parking will open 7:00 PM. No other organized activities are planned at this time due to COVID-19 precautions and recommendations. Please stay in/near your vehicles.
No personal fireworks will be permitted. Tune in to 94.1 for musical accompaniment!

Hobbs High School Graduation

Unable to hold a traditional graduation ceremony due to social distancing restrictions, Hobbs High School will hold its most unique graduation in school history at 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 18

Classes begin for New Mexico Junior College

Fall courses begin at New Mexico Junior College, Monday August 17. Safety protocols are in place to keep our students, faculty and staff safe during these unusual times.
