Second Saturdays at the Museum – Take and Make
The community is invited to "Second Saturday at the Museum: Take and Make" - a safe replacement for Family Fun Days. On Second Saturdays, people can drive up to the museum, and receive a packet full of activities for families. On September 12, our theme is Staked Plains Roundup, showcasing the history of the western way of life and the staked plains area. A limited number of packets will be available, and it's first-come, first-serve. Each person in a vehicle will receive one packet with the option to request an extra two packets to take to someone not in the vehicle. Simply pull around the circle, stop, roll down the window, and pick up the free packets (tape, scissors, etc. needed to create the crafts are not included). Activities and crafts are for all ages, but younger children may need help from an adult. For up-to-date information, follow the Museum on Facebook (facebook.com/WHMuseum), or go to the website: nmjc.edu/museum.
