Virtual Staked Plains Roundup

Every year, students in the 4th grade are invited to New Mexico Junior College campus to discover how life has changed on the Llano Estacado, also known as the Staked Plains. Students are led to various stations where they will learn about roping, branding, agriculture, and so much more. After eating lunch (their own brown bag lunch), students are treated to a special performance which may include trick ropers, Native American Dancers and more.
This year, join us for a digital event. Check our Facebook page all day September 9 and 10 for videos featuring some of your favorite demonstrators from Staked Plain plus some new friends.
This event is for everyone. If you want access to any of the videos after the event you'll find them on our YouTube page!

Dog Daze of Summer

Adoption Event. Contests.  Best Wet Look Contest.  Swim Suit Contest.  Bring your pooch to the Del Norte Pool for a howlin' good time!  Event includes a discount shot clinic, pet information booths, contests give-a-ways, Animal Adoption Event and more.  We guarantee a good time with man's best friend.  Shot Clinic (Outside Del Norte Pool) from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm.  Free microchipping.  Del Norte Doggie Paddle 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.  Animal Event with Hobbs Animal Adoption Center throughout the day.

The Cowboy Junction Church is so excited to be hosting Night to Shine sponsored by Tim Tebow! Night To Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs. We are blessed to be a part of this growing worldwide movement through the local church where thousands of people with special needs will be celebrated, given the royal treatment and reminded of God’s love for them!

Llano Estacado Art Association Fall Open Art Show

Opening Reception.  Awards Presentations.  Food truck onsite.  Eat on the patio, enjoy the art inside.  Raffle for 4 Wine & Art Baskets.  $5 a ticket or $20 for 5 tickets.  Must be present to win.
