The Hobbs Hispano Chamber of Commerce is holding a free Excel class in partnership with Marotech Inc., 6-8 pm on Thursdays from May 13 - 27 at the Chamber offices, 113 N. Classic Western Movies: “Fort Apache”

Due to capacity limitations, Classic Films returns virtually at the Western Heritage Museum with Classic Westerns. Sunday May 30, see "Fort Apache" (1947) starring John Wayne, Henry Fonda, and Shirley Temple. Synopsis: When arrogant and stubborn Civil War hero Lieutenant Colonel Owen Thursday (Henry Fonda) arrives in Arizona with his daughter, Philadelphia (Shirley Temple), to assume command of the Fort Apache outpost, he clashes with level-headed Captain Kirby York (John Wayne).. The Southwest Symphony and Lovington Mainstreet invite you to come listen to free music featuring Dan Bryan, grab a bite from the “Big Blue” Food Truck and enjoy a beautiful summer evening in the heart of downtown Lovington.

Dan Bryan, a local musician from Hobbs performs soft rock, country and originals. Dan started playing guitar at 12 years old. His album “Blue Moon” can be found on Spotify and iTunes under Marshall Stevens. Dan plays throughout Southeast New Mexico and Lubbock, TX.
