The SWING FORE NINE benefit tournament is sponsored by the Hobbs Rotary Club! This tournament is a 4 person scramble, all proceeds at this event will benefit the victims and families of the recent tragedy involving the USW Golf Team. Team Registration will be at the Rockwind Golf Shop! Easter at the courthouse is a two day event! You will get to take a FREE picture with the Easter bunny, enjoy some lemonade and receive an EGGtastic goody bag! April 13th 4PM - 6PM April 14th 4PM - 6PM

Project Heartburn is back with more music, more vendors, and more food! On April 16th, United Way of Lea County will be hosting its 2nd Annual Project Heartburn. Starting at 10am you will see performances by M School of Dance and Music, The Hobbs High School Taskervitch Band, and the Justin Kemp Band. This fundraising event will provide fund for the Hobbs Schools Crisis Fund, supporting those students that struggle with housing insecurities.This is an open event and all are welcome to attend.  Contact us at 575-964-3040 or by email: campaign@uwolc.org

Southwest Association will be having a Stone Carving Workshop hosted by David Sadler. The workshop will be instructed by Dale Tsosie and Cliff Fragua on April 29th, April 30th and May 1st.   This class costs $300 and is limited to only 25 participants. Register @ swstonecarving.com

Due to the surge in COVID cases, the staff and board of directors at CASA OF LEA COUNTY has decided to postpone the 10th Annual Boots & Bling Gala Event at the Hobbs Country Club. CASA officials ask all those involved to “save your seat” as sponsors and donors for the event. Call 393-0015 for sponsorship information!   The wait is over. Our 10th Annual Boots & Bling Gala has a date: April 30th, 2022. The party is back so mark your calendars and start shopping for the perfect outfit.
