Holiday Gift Wrapping Fundraiser by Palmer Drug Abuse Program

The Palmer Drug Abuse Program will be having a Holiday Gift Wrapping Fundraiser at the First United Methodist Church! Bring your gifts and they will wrap them all for a donation! All funds that are raised will be benefit the Palmer Drug Abuse Program in Lea County! Here is a schedule to take your gifts by! December 15th and 17th: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM December 20th and 21st: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Hobbs Holiday Tournament

The 62nd annual boys, and 4th annual girls Hobbs Holiday Tournament begins in Tasker Arena. Aside from New Mexico, there will also be teams from Texas and Arizona competing for the tournament championship. Games start at 8 a.m. today with the final game tipping off around 8 p.m.  Tickets can be purchased at http://hobbsschools.net/athletics/tickets  

Old West Bingo – Young Adult

No boots, spurs, registration or library card required for our Young Adult Program. Everyone ages 4 and up, saddler up and join the Hobbs Public Library in the meeting room. The library will be rustling up some games, prizes and chow! For more information please call: (575)397-9328.

Playhouse Gala

Please join the Community Players of Hobbs for their annual awards gala as they celebrate those who have gone above and beyond at the Playhouse in the 2021 season! This will also serve as the January board meeting. As always, the gala is free and open to the public! Music will be presented by DJ Alpine and the theme is western.

Wax On – Wax Off

Nancy Powell will be hosting the Wax On - Wax Off event and it is FREE to all! Batik is a method (originally used in Java) of producing colored designs on textiles by dyeing them, having first applied wax to the parts to be left undyed.

Golden Revue - the Hobbs High School talent show that is an annual tradition - opens with its first performance at 7 p.m. tonight in Tydings Auditorium. Encore performances are scheduled at 7 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $10 at the door with proceeds going toward HHS Choir events.
