Americana in memory of Maria Mutis presented by Southwest Symphony Orchestra

Start the summer off with Southwest Symphony's "Americana" concert. Veterans, active military and first responders get in free! Wear your red, white and blue and stay for the reception after. Tickets $25. 18 and under and college students with ID get in free. Enjoy all American classics with the Southwest Symphony Orchestra as we celebrate good ‘ol “Americana”! Hoedown from “Rodeo”, Armed Forces SaluteSummertime Medley and Memories of America Medley will bring back the nostalgia classic American music.

Chocolate: The Exhibition

“Chocolate: The Exhibition,” is a traveling multimedia exhibition that engages the senses and traces the evolution of chocolate from a small, bitter seed found deep in the rainforest to the continent-spanning delicacy it is today. Visitors will be able to learn the biology behind cacao – the tropical seed that chocolate is derived from – while standing under a life-sized cacao tree, explore how cultures throughout history have used chocolate, and much, much more.
