Photographer of Into the Great White Sands, Craig Varjabedian will be giving a presentation on his current show at the Museum as well as his other projects. His talk will be followed by a reception where you can purchase his book and meet him. Craig Varjabedian is an award-winning photographer who explores the back roads of the American West, making pictures of the unique and quintessential. He shares awe-inspiring stories of the land and the people who live on it-one photograph at a time. Craig Varjabedian's newest book Into The Great White Sands, a photographic exploration of White Sands National Monument, was released Spring 2018 by the University of New Mexico Press.

2-Day Photography Workshop with Craig Varjabedian Day 1 - 3pm We will meet at the Western Heritage Museum and Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame for a quick discussion of photography and how the workshop will work. - 4-4:30pm We will drive out to a local ranch together in an NMJC vehicle.
